Till code is the short number you type at the counter. Opening stock is what you already have on the shelf — give what it cost you in total, not per unit, and it posts to capital rather than pretending you paid cash for it today.

Each till needs its own invoice series (A, B, C…). GST allows several series so long as each is gapless on its own, which is what lets an offline till number its own bills.
